Young artistes should learn from the legends to improve their craft – Nero X

Ghanaian singer and songwriter Joseph Nkrumah Buabeng, popularly known as Nero X, has recently emphasized the importance of young artists seeking guidance from experienced musicians to enhance their artistic skills. Nero X shared this sentiment following his collaboration with Ghanaian Hiplife legend Tinny on his latest single, “Medo Wiase.” The “Osey” hitmaker expressed his astonishment at Tinny’s musical depth during their recording session and believes that Tinny deserves recognition as one of Ghana’s top rap artists.

Nero X believes that working with established musicians like Tinny is an incredible experience and an opportunity for young artists to learn and grow. He stated, “We, the young artists, have a lot to learn from these legends if we want to improve our craft.” Nero X also highlighted the immense contributions veteran artists can make to the music industry, emphasizing that many of them still have much to offer. He encouraged young artists to seek the guidance and mentorship of these seasoned musicians, believing that Ghanaian music will flourish as a result.

When asked about his upcoming projects, Nero X revealed his intention to release an album titled “Two Phase.” His recently released single, “Medo Wiase,” is part of the ‘Phase Two’ album and is available for streaming on various platforms.

Nero X, a Ghanaian Hiplife artist, songwriter, performer, and instrumentalist, gained recognition after winning the inaugural edition of Viasat 1 TV’s Born Starz competition. He is best known for his hit single “Osey” and has released other notable songs like “Nyame Dedaw,” “Nipa Nua,” and “Yawa Dey.” Throughout his career, Nero X has collaborated with esteemed artists such as Teephlow, KK Fosu, Guru, Tinny, FlowKing Stone, and Okyeame Kwame.
