Board Chairman of Bills Microcredit Richard Nii Armah Quaye has revealed that a lecturer in the UK predicted his entrepreneurial success when he was much younger.
In an interview, Richard shared a transformative encounter with Michael Mainwaring, his lecturer at the London College of Accountancy. When Mainwaring asked about his post-graduation plans, Richard admitted he was uncertain about his future.
In response, his lecturer prophesied that he would achieve great success in Ghana rather than staying in the UK.
“You will make it very big back home, and your success will open doors for you to return to the UK. But this time, you should come back in my private jet and pay me a visit,” Mainwaring told him.
Reflecting on this encounter, Richard believes it played a crucial role in shaping his journey, ultimately helping him become one of Ghana’s most successful businessmen.
