Shatta Wale, according to popular Ghanaian rapper Medikal, must be respected for paving the road for Grammy-winning Nigerian Afrobeats musician Burna Boy.
Burna Boy and Shatta Wale used to be great friends, but for various reasons, the two acts are no longer on speaking terms.
As Ghanaians are trying so hard to find out what triggered the relationship of Shatta Wale and Burna Boy to turn sour, Medikal has shared an old footage of Shatta Wale and Burna Boy on Twitter.
According to checks, the photo was taken during the video shoot of Shatta Wale’s popular hit track ‘Hossana’ that features Burna Boy.
It is believed that Shatta Wale’s ‘Hossana’ song with Burna Boy shot the Grammy award-winner to fame.
In the tweet, Medikal lamented that, “Truth be told, it’s time to give respect Shatta Wale paved Burna Boy’s path to success But some folks are too proud to accept.
The ‘Wrowro Ho’ rapper advised that,”Let’s give credit where it’s due and show some respect!!! Without Shatta, Burna may not have had his big break”.
