Black Stars head coach Otto Addo remains confident that Ghana can still secure qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) despite their recent setback against Sudan.
During a presser, he stated
“It’s not over yet.” “Mathematically, we still have a chance, and we will do everything in our power to keep that hope alive.”
Ghana earned just one point from two crucial matches during the October international break, leaving their AFCON hopes hanging by a thread.
The team played to a goalless draw at home before suffering a 2-0 defeat in Libya against Kwasi Appiah’s Sudanese side.
As a result, Ghana sits third in the group standings, trailing Angola and Sudan with two matches left to play.
