War doesn’t end with truce – Iwan forgives Shatta Wale

After many years of holding grudges and releasing unlimited diss songs against each other, Dancehall musicians Shatta Wale and Iwan smokes the peace pipe.

The beef between Shatta Wale and Iwan spans for about a decade for many reasons unknown to the general public but it is believed to have sprung up during Mavado’s visit to Ghana where it is alleged that then Iwan’s manager, Bulldog sabotaged Shatta Wale and prevented him from performing on the night.

Iwan dissed Shatta Wale on records like ‘Fanfooler’, ‘Foot Soldier’, ‘Fake Shatta’, whiles Shatta Wale also replied with ‘Letter to Iwan’, ‘One Man Killer’, and many others.

After being at each others throat for years, they’ve finally smoked the peace pipe when they met at Joy FM to promote their individual upcoming projects.

Iwan took to Facebook to officially announce their unity. “Yet war doesn’t end with truce, it only ends with forgiveness and reconciliation. Well wishes my brother @shattawalenima” he posted. Shatta Wale is yet to make any official posts on his social media platforms.

Iwan is out with a new album titled Rainbow Album’ as he traditionally does in his birthday.
