The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has urged Ghanaians to make their voting decisions based on the current state of the economy and its effects on their lives.
During a campaign tour of markets in the Greater Accra region, she addressed a large crowd of traders at the Odorkor market in Accra on Monday, stressing the importance of deriving real value from voting.
Prof Opoku-Agyemang highlighted that the primary purpose of voting is to promote national development across all sectors. She argued that any political party that fails to deliver meaningful progress should not remain in power.
Further, She called on supporters of the ruling party to honestly evaluate the government’s poor performance and consider voting for change.
“A political party is not a family bond; you have the freedom to choose a party that genuinely improves your livelihood and contributes to the nation’s development,” she stated.
She concluded by encouraging citizens to make the right choice by voting for the NDC to secure the country’s safety and advancement.
