Remember how Kwame Borga, an actor and Kumawood production assistant, claimed in a recent viral video that more than 70% of the women in the Kumasi film business are covert hookup girls?
Many people were offended by his allegation, and Mercy Asiedu and subsequently her husband Nana Agyeman Badu I, the chief of Kunsu, responded.
After being threatened with being taken to court by Mercy Aseidu and her husband, Kwame Borga later apologized profusely for his remarks.
He asserts that even if the whole thing was meant to be a joke, it turned out to be a poor joke.
Because he was Mercy Asiedu and her husband’s kid, he called them by name and begged them to forgive him.
Seasoned performer Vivian Jill Lawrence has also offered her opinion on the “Kumawood-Hookup Girls” remarks as a whole.
Vivian Jill refuted the assertions that the majority of Kumawood actresses are hookup chicks in an interview with Dave Hammer for Hell FM.
Vivian Jill asserts that Kwame Borga’s accusations are untrue because she, for example, is involved in the charcoal industry and she knows other actors who are involved in other industries.
