The current Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong, has vowed to remain in the running to represent the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
One of the four candidates vying to lead the party, Mr. Agyapong, declared his intention to stand his ground against all opposition.
On November 4, the NPP will choose its flagbearer, setting the stage for a crucial choice in the course of the party.
In a video circulating online, he emphasized the importance of allowing the contest to reach its natural conclusion before delving into post-election considerations.
“Coming together will depend on how we conduct this November 4 election, looking at the way they treated on the 26th last month (during the Super Delegates voting), I felt it wasn’t proper,” he added
