President John Mahama emphasised Ramadan as a time for unity and reconciliation during the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration at Accra’s Black Star Square on Monday, March 31, 2025.
During his address, he urged the people of Bawku in the Upper East Region to embrace peace during the holy month.
“Ramadan is a time for unity. Let us use this sacred time to reflect on love, forgiveness, and harmony. Together, we can build a stronger and more united community,” Mahama said.
Further, He also urged religious and traditional leaders to mediate and encourage dialogue among all parties involved, stressing the importance of collective efforts to restore peace in the region.
