Renowed Boxer Tyson Fury has announced his immediate retirement from boxing via a social media post after he loss to Oleksandr Usyk in December.
In his tweet, the renowned boxer said,
“I’d like to announce my retirement from boxing. It’s been a blast; I’ve loved every single minute of it. I’m going to end with this. Dick Turpin wore a mask. God bless everybody; see you on the other side. GET UP!”
Fury made the announcement Usyk defeated Fury by unanimous decision in their rematch, retaining his unified heavyweight world titles.
The news of Fury’s retirement has shocked boxing fans globally, though some remain sceptical, as the Gipsy King has previously retired from the sport.
