A tragic incident has unfolded in Kasoa, where a fire claimed the lives of 22-year-old Kwabena Osei and his 19-year-old girlfriend, Princess.
Reports indicate that the fire stemmed from a dispute over GHS 190,000 after Kwabena, part of a group involved in internet fraud, refused to share the earnings with his associates.
Despite repeated pleas from his friends to divide the money, Kwabena remained steadfast, escalating tensions within the group.
In a shocking turn of events, his friends took drastic action, dousing his house with gasoline and setting it ablaze, resulting in the deaths of both Kwabena and Princess, who were inside at the time.
Additionally, reports reveal that Princess participated in the fraudulent activities by posing as a foreign woman during phone calls for Kwabena and his group.
