“Three of My Assistants Cast Juju Spell On Me”-Guru Claims

Written by Sarah Boye

Ghanaian musician Guru, known as Maradona Yeboah Adjei, has recently shared troubling experience with black magic.

On Emelia Brobbey’s Okukuseku Show, Guru explained that at first, he dismissed warnings from two pastors about spiritual attacks but later faced their consequences directly after three of his personal assistants cast a juju spell on him, which caused him to lose his voice during a stage performance.

“One pastor told me that I was under a juju attack, and another said I had been spiritually shot. I endured persistent stomach pains for eight months afterward,” Guru explained.

Further, He recounted an incident where he suddenly went mute while performing his song “Bonsam Ani.”

“As soon as I started singing ‘Bonsam Ani,’ I lost my voice and became stiff. The DJ paused the music, thinking I wanted to engage with the audience, but nothing worked. I had to leave the stage,”.

Moreover, after several hospital visits yielded no answers, Guru turned to a herbalist. The herbalist removed various objects, including metal rings, hooks, wood, and cowrie shells, from his body.

“The hospitals found nothing, but the herbalist eventually extracted metals, wood, hooks, and cowrie shells from different parts of me,” Guru recounted.
