Artist manager Bulldog has openly revealed that there are no major record labels in Ghana.
The creative manager who is also an entertainment pundit has rolled out such assertion on HitzFm’s DAYBREAKHITZ on Tuesday, 30th May 2023.
In his conversation, Ghana can only boast of independent record labels but to discuss a major label, Ghana is out of the picture.
“We just have independent labels in Ghana. Not major ones” Bulldog said.
Currently, there has been a couple of music labels who have thrived on pushing creative artists to the limelight.
In modern day, we can talk of Lynx Entertainment which groomed and shoot the likes of Kuame Emgene, MzVee, KiDi among others to the mainstream.
Also we can discuss RuffTown Records having the late Ebony, Wendy Shay and other musicians who have and are still making name at the world market.
For Bulldog, these are only independent label but not major recording labels.
