Former NPP member Hopeson Adorye has accused some members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of plotting to sabotage President John Dramani Mahama’s upcoming administration by causing power outages.
Adorye stated in a recent interview that such schemes would fail, as Ghanaians are no longer willing to tolerate political manipulation.
“Some NPP members are trying to sabotage Mahama’s government by creating another dumsor crisis, but their efforts will fail. The people of Ghana are alert and will not accept these political games.”He warned,
Further, he also made it clear that he would take strong action against any attempts at sabotage, even if it means confronting his own party members.
“If, after three months of Mahama’s presidency, I hear any NPP member complaining about the situation, I will deal with them harshly,” Adorye declared.
