While attending a reception before his Coronation, King Charles III met with His Royal Majesty, the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at Westminster Hall.
Dressed in a beautiful kente, the Asantehene was seen shaking hands with Prince Charles at the Palace of Westminster today [Thursday, May 4, 2023].
Lady Julia, Otumfuo’s wife, who was also dressed in a kente attire, joined them.
On May 3, 2023, the monarch and his wife boarded a private aircraft bound for London and the Coronation of the new monarch of Britain.
The Coronation ceremony is slated for Saturday, May 6, 2023, and would be done with that of Queen Consort Camilla.
