Son Of Salifu Amoako Receives Six-Month Juvenile Sentence

The 16-year-old son of Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako has been condemn to six months in a juvenile detention center for his role in a tragic car accident in East Legon that destroy two 12-year-old girls.

During court proceedings, the teenager was found guilty of manslaughter and driving without a license.

Further, the court also held his parents, Bishop Salifu Amoako and his wife, accountable for their roles in the incident. It found them guilty of negligence for allowing their underage son to drive. As a result, the couple were charge GH¢6,000 each and ordered to cover the damages caused by the crash.

Additionally, Bishop Amoako must pay over GH¢8,000 for the destruction of a light pole during the accident.

The teenager was driving a Jaguar SUV when he collided with another vehicle, leading to the deaths of the two young girls.
