Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has revealed that he launched his ride-hailing service, Shaxi, with an investment exceeding $2 million.
In a live session with his fans, he explained that his motivation for starting the business was to support people and create job opportunities.
Instead of spending the $2 million on personal luxuries, he opted to establish Shaxi to help others succeed.
Shatta Wale emphasised that the investment went towards app development, acquiring numerous mini cars, and promotional activities.
“I could have bought a Rolls Royce or a Lamborghini,” he said, highlighting his choice to prioritise business over personal luxury.
