According to Shatta Wale, the most hyped Gift Of God Album is no more coming into existence.
The Dancehall singer had made such known in a twitter space where he gave vivid reasons for the cancellation of the Album.
In his ordeal, he couldn’t make up with some Features on the Album which includes America’s top pop singer, Beyonce.
The Ghanaian musician in his rant revealed that the people he had appointed to lead delegations failed him.
Shatta divulged that he tried to secure a record deal in Nigeria and after some recommendations were made, he later found his Album leaked.
He said, “…I got some distributors in Nigeria to get me a deal in Nigeria. Everything was going on propper but before I realised, paper they were supposed to give me to sign to secure some amount of money to shoot my videos, I don’t know what happened, I gave them a list to test them on how they can keep my songs for me, even though that wasn’t wasn’t actual track list for the GOG, and they just leaked it. And the person that connected me to those Nigerians….that person is in Ghana and I swear to you, as I am talking to you right now, his house papers are with me”.
Shatta Wale announced the birth of Gift Of God Album since 2020.
Many music enthusiats around the world had waited for the reality to strike but it took the dancehall musician in 2023 to announce the termination of the Album, giving reasons that he couldn’t secure some Features and also got into the claws of untrusted distributors.
