Dancehall artist Shatta Wale claims his former manager, Bullgod, caused him to lose a $4 million record deal by leaking the tracklist of his much-anticipated *Gift of God* (GoG) album.

Speaking on Kessben FM on November 25, 2024, Shatta Wale stated that he had secured a partnership with a record label for the album, which featured international collaborations and a well-planned distribution strategy. He alleged that Bullgod, acting out of personal grievances after their professional split, leaked the tracklist, leading to the deal’s cancellation.

“My GoG album included international collaborations. One day, after he stopped working with me, he decided to disgrace me by releasing the tracklist. At the time, I had a $4 million deal, and all the documentation was ready.
When the tracklist leaked, the record label called to ask who was responsible. After I explained it was my former manager, they cancelled the deal. They were suppose to send the money in just three days.”Shatta Wale said
