Legendary Ghanaian musician KK Kabobo is battling a life-threatening liver condition. Samira Bawumia, the Second Lady of Ghana, has shown her support and kindness by donating to the veteran musician.
During a visit to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) in Accra, where KK Kabobo is having medical treatment, Mark Okraku-Mantey, the Deputy Minister for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, conveyed the kind donation on behalf of Mrs. Bawumia.
Although the exact amount of the donation is not yet known, the family of KK Kabobo has expressed their sincere gratitude for Mrs. Bawumia’s kind gesture.
KK Kabobo took a moment to express his gratitude for the tremendous support he has received from friends, family, and fellow members of the media community, despite his health issues.
He thanked everyone from the bottom of his heart and asked Ghanaians to keep him in their prayers and thoughts while he works to heal.
A sincere appeal by broadcaster Barima Kaakyire Agyemang, who posted the musician’s predicament on Facebook on February 26, gave the support for KK Kabobo a big boost.
