The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has dismissed rumours about recent recruitment activities, calling them false and unfounded.
In a statement on Monday, December 23, NHIA’s Chief Executive, Dr. Da-Costa Aboagye, disprove claims of ongoing or recent recruitment, confirming that all hiring for 2024 ended in October.
It clarified that the Public Services Commission handles appointments and confirmations for director-level positions, with the NHIA’s role limited to notifying applicants after receiving a report from the Commission.
“We are resolute in maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in all our operations.”
Further, the authority urged the public to disregard false claims or threats of last-minute recruitment and reiterated its commitment to transparency and following established procedures.
