The president of the World Miracle Outreach Church, Rev. Lawrence Tetteh, has announced his intention to pursue legal action against a former Net2 TV presenter who accused him of serious misconduct in a viral video.
In an interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM, the clergyman strongly condemned the accusations made by Kwaku Annan as baseless and harmful to his reputation.
“That is rubbish; that is not journalism,” Rev. Tetteh asserted passionately. He emphasized that legal steps would be taken, describing the claims as either vindictive or orchestrated to tarnish his hard-earned reputation. “Enough is enough; the nonsense must stop.
I will do everything possible to put an end to this stupidity and foolishness. Defamation and malicious intent cannot be tolerated,” he stated.
Rev. Tetteh also urged the Ghana Journalist Association and the National Media Commission to step in and uphold professional standards in media reporting. He stressed the importance of maintaining respect and trust in Ghanaian media, warning that failure to do so could erode public confidence.
