Ghanaian media personality Nana Yaa Brefo has called on President John Dramani Mahama to rethink appointing COP Kofi Boakye as the next Inspector General of Police (IGP).
In a recent broadcast, Yaa Brefo insist that while Boakye, who is currently a senior citizen,deserves a significant role, he should be choose for a position within National Security rather than as Inspector General of Police (IGP).
She expressed concern that such an appointment would be a setback, rather than a step forward, in tackling the country’s security issues.
