Hip-life duo Keche, consisting of Joshua Kojo Ampah and Andrew Kofi Cudjoe, have revealed their enduring presence in the Ghanaian music scene.
During an interview on Channel One TV, Andrew emphasized the significance of understanding and respecting the Keche brand within their partnership.
He explained,
“We come from different backgrounds with ideologies, so misunderstandings are inevitable. Even twins like Psquare faced challenges and went separate ways, so we understand it’s possible.”
They also acknowledged instances when they performed despite not being on speaking terms, stressing the importance of maintaining appearances to protect their brand and livelihood.
Joshua echoed these sentiments, highlighting the crucial role of media support in their journey.
He noted,
“Despite occasional disagreements, our mutual understanding has been essential in navigating the complexities of the music industry for over a decade.”
This resilience underscores their formidable presence since emerging onto the scene in 2004, marking fifteen years of musical influence.
