The Movement for Change’s founder and leader, Alan Kyeremanten,has wished Eid-ul-Adha to all Muslims in Ghana.
In a statement released on Monday, June 17, he emphasised the significance of Eid-Ul-Adha and its principles of sacrifice and compassion, stating,
“This event is a reminder of the ideals of sacrifice and compassion.” May this Eid bring you and your families abundant blessings, joy, and peace.”
Mr. Kyeremanten urged Ghanaians to unite as the country prepares for the December elections, saying,
“This year is very significant as our dear country prepares for the impending general elections in December. It is time to reflect on our common values and goals for a prosperous, peaceful, and united Ghana.”
Also, he emphasised regardless of one’s background or beliefs, it is critical to embrace diversity and cultivate understanding, tolerance, and mutual respect during this time of national reflection and celebration.
