Written by Louis

The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) announced a 6.56% reduction in residential customers’ electricity tariffs.

The tariffs paid by lifeline customers (0–30 kWh) and residential customers within the consumption range of 0-300 kWh would remain unchanged, the Commission clarified in a statement.

However, home customers in the 0-300 kWh consumption range and above will see an average 6.56% drop in electricity tariffs.

There has been no change in the tariffs for non-residential consumers within the 0-300 kWh tariff range. The press statement also stated that customers in the 301 kWh and above class will have an average reduction of 4.980/0.
