The National Democratic Congress (NDC) running mate,Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang urges voter not to let sudden government projects across the country sway them.
During a campaign stop at the New Takoradi Market, she criticised the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration for rolling out projects just before elections to garner votes, only to abandon them afterward. She also highlighted the NPP government’s pattern of starting projects without completing them, using the unfinished Takoradi market as a case in point.
In contrast, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang noted that the NDC has a track record of completing significant projects like the Kejetia and Kotokoraba markets in a timely manner.
She assured that the forthcoming Mahama administration would create substantial job opportunities through initiatives such as the 24-Hour Economy, the Big Push, and the National Apprenticeship program.
