President John Mahama has appointed renowned broadcaster Dr Ransford Anertey Abbey as the acting chief executive officer (CEO) of the Ghana Cocoa Board.
The executive secretary to the president, Dr Callistus Mahama, confirmed the appointment in a statement dated January 21, 2025.
Dr Abbey’s appointment aims to inject fresh energy and provide strategic direction to COCOBOD, a pivotal organisation in Ghana’s cocoa industry.
