Police Launch Investigation Into Disappearance Of NextGen CEO

The Ghana Police Service has announce it investigation into the disappearance of CEO of NextGen Infraco ,Mr Tony Mintah, who was reportedly kidnap by unidentified individuals at the National Communication Authority (NCA) premises in Accra.

In a statement, the police confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and promised to provide updates as new information becomes available.

Further, they urged the public to remain calm and report any information that could assist in locating Mr. Mintah by contacting the hotline, 0547927272.

BACKGROUND;

NextGen Infraco, responsible for executing Ghana’s 5G spectrum upgrade, plays a key role in the country’s technological advancement.

In June 2024, the Government of Ghana, in collaboration with Ascend Digital, K-NET, Radisys, Nokia, and Tech Mahindra, launched NextGen InfraCo (NGIC) to deliver affordable 5G mobile broadband services, supported by all mobile network operators, including AirtelTigo-AT and Telecel.
