The Ghana Police Service has thanked the public for their cooperation during the presidential swearing-in ceremony of President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.
In a statement released on January 8, ACP Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs, expressed gratitude for the public’s support, highlighting the patience shown by motorists during the temporary road closures and traffic diversions in Accra.
Further, the police reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining peace, security, and order across the country, urging citizens to continue supporting their efforts.
“We are steadfast to ensuring peace, security, law, and order nationwide and ask for the public’s ongoing cooperation,” the statement added.
