Police Arrest 52-Year-Old Man Over Biometric Verification Device

The Nsawam Police has Arrest 52-Year-Old Samuel Yaw Koranteng Over Biometric Verification Device Found in His Possession.

Reports indicate that authorities received a tip about Koranteng attempting to sell a Biometric Verification Device (BVD). Undercover NDC members and intelligence agents arranged to purchase the device for GHC100.00.

During the transaction, Koranteng allegedly handed over the BVD wrapped in a black plastic bag. The police then arrested Koranteng, seized the device and his personal information, and transferred him to the Nsawam Police.

During interrogation, Koranteng stated that a friend from Tudu, who is involved in phone sales, had given him the BVD.

The Nsawam Police have yet to release an official statement, leaving the ownership of the BVD uncertain, despite its EC markings.
