Bernard Mornah has become the flagbearer for the People’s National Convention (PNC), marking a significant milestone for the party.
During the party’s congress, which selected national executives for the December general elections, Mornah decisively won with 1,138 votes, while his opponent, David Apasera, received 216 votes.
In his victory speech, Mornah invited Apasera to join forces to enhance the party’s prospects for the upcoming elections, emphasizing the need for unity to achieve political success.
Although Apasera’s team initially delayed the process with an injunction, the congress continued smoothly after resolving the issue.
Electoral Commission officials made the official announcement at the UDS Guest House in Accra on September 7, 2024.
