Piesie Esther, a gospel singer, has finally arrived. A few hours after winning Gospel Song of the Year, she won Best Gospel Artiste at the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
Piesie Esther was nominated in seven categories, including the esteemed Artiste of the Year one.
In an interview, she stated that she would be unhappy if she didn’t receive the Artiste of the Year honor.
Black Sherif, who is heavily favored to win the prestigious Artiste of the Year award, is a formidable opponent for her.
She was up against Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, Celestine Donkor, and MOG Music for the title of Best Gospel Artiste.
