The one week celebration of the late Akwaboah Snr was held on 30th May 2023 at Trede.
The ceremony hosted a host of Ghanaian celebrities, family and friends of the late musician and industry players.
Kwadwo Akwaboah knocked the bucket on 16th May, 2023 after sustaining illness for some time.
Omane Acheamping, Strongman, and a number of musicians who are friends to Akwaboah Jnr stormed the event centre to grieve with the late singer’s son.
Kwadwo Akwaboah when alive was a great guitarist and vocalist who normally play with the likes of CK Mann, Rex Owusu Marfor among other renowned highlife greats.
He played as a member of the Oheneba Ntim Band and lived as a musical mentor to many including his son, Akwaboah Jnr.
