Photos of John Mahama and NDC delagation visit to Kuffour’s residence

A delegation from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) led by former president John Dramani Mahama visited former president John Agyekum Kufuor to express their condolences on the loss of Theresa Kufuor.

On Wednesday, Mr. Mahama traveled to Peduase with his wife, Lordina Mahama, a former first lady of Ghana.

Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, the 2020 NDC running mate, NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia, NDC Council of Elders Chair Alhaji Mahama Iddrisu, former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, and Deputy Valerie Sawyerr were among the other members of the group.

The Book of Condolence was signed by the 2024 NDC flagbearer on behalf of the party. He wrote, “We are all saddened by th“She carried herself with dignity and was truly acknowledged by the people of Ghana as the mother of the nation.” the passing of our respected mother, former First Lady Madam Theresa Kufuor.

Mr. Mahama expressed his sympathies to the widower and prayed for the deceased person’s spirit to experience a peaceful death.

Funeral plans are now being made, according to the family, and will be revealed soon.

Mrs Kufuor died on Sunday, aged 87.

President Akufo-Addo and the NPP have since directed for flags to fly at half-mast in her honor.
