Parliament has confirmed the first batch of ministerial nominees chosen by President John Dramani Mahama after a comprehensive vetting and debate process. The approved nominees include:

– John Jinapor as Energy Minister
– Dr. Dominic Ayine as Attorney General and Minister for Justice
On Monday, January 13, 2025, the Appointments Committee conducted the vetting, rigorously assessing the nominees’ qualifications, experience, and visions for their roles.
The committee then presented its findings to the House for debate, where Members of Parliament engaged in detailed discussions on the nominees’ competencies and plans to address national challenges.
