Media personality Ola Michael has predicted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, will win the 2024 elections but will face major challenges.
In a viral video, Mr Michael expressed that, due to the economic issues linked to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mahama will struggle to restore national stability after his victory.
He further expressed concerns that by 2027, hardships might lead the NPP to incite the youth to violently oppose Mahama, potentially causing him to regret his presidency.
He stated:
“The results of this year’s election will favor the former president Mahama, but in two years, the country will witness something unprecedented and dangerous.
It will be similar to what is happening in Kenya, but not on the same scale.
The youth of this country will rise up against him. The reason is that the same people who created the mess will orchestrate this suffering for him.”
Ola suggested that to prevent these occurrences, Mahama must recover misappropriated state funds to strengthen the economy.
He explained,
“One way to avoid this in 2027 is to reclaim some of the money that has been taken from the country’s coffers. If he remains indifferent, by 2027, or else he will regret it.”
