Written by Sarah Boye

The National Service Scheme (NSS) has announced recruitment for National Service graduates and unemployed youth for a six-month volunteer program.

In a press statement released on Thursday, the Scheme explained that this initiative responds to the high number of applications from young people and aims to address youth unemployment in the country.

Some part of the statement reads:

“We will soon activate an online application system on the scheme’s website to streamline the selection process. The focus of recruitment will be from various sectors such as sanitation, teaching, agriculture, health, and others.

“We encourage everyone to spread awareness about this opportunity among potential candidates in your region or district and provide them with the necessary guidance and support throughout the application process.”
