Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Vice Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has pledged that his government will prioritise tax reliefs and enhance power supply.
During his campaign in the Greater Accra Region, he engaged with traders at the Makola and Okaishie markets, where he outlined the NPP’s vision, including the implementation of a simplified flat tax system to support small business owners and women-led enterprises.
His interactions with the traders underscored their significance in the NPP’s future plans.
Further, Dr Opoku Prempeh also introduced Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s vision for comprehensive tax reforms, including the flat tax system, which received positive feedback.
Additionally, he emphasised Bawumia’s commitment to maintaining exchange rate stability, which is crucial for business planning and price stability.
