The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has firmly stated that the next NDC administration will hold appointees from the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government accountable.
Speaking to NDC supporters in the Eastern Region, Asiedu Nketiah criticised those who portray the NDC as a frightening alternative, arguing that such claims are merely attempts to avoid justice.
He reaffirmed John Dramani Mahama’s promise that the next NDC government will act without greed and will not mistreat Ghanaians for selfish reasons.
“For those claiming the alternative is scary, tell them it’s only scary for wrongdoers. If you are a thief or a criminal, the alternative should indeed be scary. Under our government, no corrupt individual will go unpunished.”
Asiedu Nketiah’s remarks follow a commitment made by NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama during the party’s manifesto launch at the University of Education, Winneba, on August 24 to investigate and prosecute all corrupt officials from the current administration.
