The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has informed its members that there are no plans for any industrial action, urging them to continue providing full medical services.
In the statement, the GMA called on members to continue providing full services without disruption while showing solidarity with organised labour’s fight against illegal small-scale mining (Galamsey).
This announcement comes as organised labour remains firm on its decision to proceed with a nationwide strike on October 10, despite President Akufo-Addo’s request on October 4 for more time to address their concerns.
