Nigerian actor and lawyer Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, also known as Kanayo O. Kanayo, has voiced his sorrow and concern over the alleged murder of a Ghanaian woman and her Nigerian friend in Aba, Abia State.
Celine Chidinma Ndidum and Afibah Tandoh, who had travelled to Aba in April to meet a business partner, were reportedly killed by the person they went to visit.
Police shot and killed the alleged kidnapper, Andrew Amaechi Ochekwo, while he attempted to escape custody during transport to Abuja.
In a heartfelt video posted on social media, Kanayo O. Kanayo expressed deep sorrow over the incident, emphasising the risks young people face when forming friendships and travelling long distances to meet online connections.
