Chairperson of the National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE), Kathleen Addy, confidently affirmed that Ghana can hold peaceful elections this year.
In an interview on TV3, she highlighted the need to focus on potential threats from extremists during the election.
“We expect a successful and violence-free election. Everyone is looking forward to an election where no lives are sacrifice for power. While Ghana has strong systems in place for a peaceful process, we should focus on external threats from violent extremists,” Addy stated.
