The Director-General of the Ghana National Service Authority (NSA), Felix Gyamfi, has vowed to increase personnel allowances soon.
In an interview on Wednesday, April 2, Mr Gyamfi stated that the president is already considering the adjustment and working towards a solution.
“The current GHC715 allowance is inadequate. We are in discussions with the government to revise it to a more sustainable amount that can better support service personnel in these difficult times,” he said.
His remarks come in response to growing calls from service personnel for a raise, citing inflation and the rising cost of living.
