The National Peace Council has urged political parties to set aside their differences and work together to ensure peace as the general elections approach.
Representing the council at a meeting, Mawuvi Bin Salin underscored the need for peace and called for cooperation.
He emphasized that the call respond to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) announcing its refusal to sign a peace agreement before the elections.
Mawuvi Bin Salin stated;
“To achieve this, we need your cooperation, goodwill, and trust in the committee. Addressing the underlying causes of potential conflicts must come first. With that goodwill and trust, we will feel encouraged to do our very best.”
