National Film Authority Schedules 23rd-29th December For Cinema Week [DETAILS]

The National Film authority of Ghana has launched a Ghanaian Cinema Week.

In this festive season, the NFA in conjunction with Afrocinemaplus have scheduled 23rd to 29th December 2022 to showcase the amazing works of Ghanaian filmmakers and also contribute to the enhancement and boosting of the Cinema culture in Ghana.

This is the Authority set up by the Government of Ghana under Act 935 to regulate and streamline the ecosystem of film in Ghana.

The NFA acknowledges that film is an important vehicle for socio-cultural and economic development.Ghana has always been an important voice in the development of film in Africa.

The NFA is committed to working with all its stakeholders to ensure that Ghana is well positioned on the global landscape as a progressive nation with a strong drive to promote and facilitate high-quality productions to appeal to a global market.
