The controversial Evangelist Patricia Asiedu, also known as Nana Agradaa, who was accused of defrauding churchgoers, has returned, contrary to what many people believed to be the end of her career. Her church is currently fully populated, and business as usual has resumed.
After being given free by the court due to accusations that she committed a twofold scam on some of her church members, Agradaa reportedly made her first appearance at her Heaven Way Church in Weija.
On Sunday, November 27, 2022, she conducted a closed-door service as opposed to her customary open-door Sunday activities.
In a service that was live-streamed on social media, Agradaa sang and provided ministry.
Agradaa gave thanks to God in a hymn of praise and worship while being held captive by the police for keeping her safe.
She feels that God deserves all the praise for keeping her safe and sound during the 40 days that she was imprisoned.
“I thank God that nothing bad happened to me throughout my 40 days in prison. I thank you because even though I was in jail, neither I nor anybody else ever attempted to poison me.
She also expressed gratitude to those who, according to her, stood with her during her difficult time.
Despite the controversy, Agradaa invited her followers to visit her 24-hour service if they needed startup funding.
On Sunday, many people came to her church service, and no drama was noted.
Akua MP, a TikTok user, provided a vivid account of what happened during the famed all-night service that took place from Friday, October 7, in the evening to Saturday, October 8, in the morning.
Members seen in the viral video said that Agradaa promised to double any donations made to her church as part of her evangelistic effort on her own TV station (TTV).
After receiving their funds, Akua MP said that Agradaa had not doubled the amount as promised and had also refused to return the funds.
Other displeased members claim that Agradaa offered to give some of her victims GHS10 so they could use it to pay for transportation back home when she realized that many of her victims were still loitering on the church grounds after the ceremony.
