Renowned Ghanaian musician Nacee has revealed that he has submitted a campaign song for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the upcoming general election.

In an interview, Nacee explained that this year’s song is based on the concept of the 24-hour economy, an initiative by the NDC’s flag bearer that highlights the party’s vision for economic growth and development.

He stated,

“It depends on the party’s decision. I am making four songs this year for the NDC; sometimes I produce up to six, as different songs serve various purposes.”

Nacee added that high-ranking NDC politicians often reach out to him not only for his artistic talents in campaign songs and other political projects but also to discuss matters beyond music.

This follows his previous compositions of popular NDC campaign songs like “Onaapo” in 2016 and 2020. The NDC approached him again in 2022 to create another song.
