Gospel musician Empress Gifty has revealed why she is making more records in Englsh that the Ghanaian language some time now.
In an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Showbiz A-Z, the renowned gospel performer swiftly reacted to the question “you now sing in English these days alot, what’s the secrete?”.
In her reaction, Empress Gifty has divulged that her traveling and the kind of people she has been meeting have had influence on the kinda language she uses in her songs.
According to her, some times she has to interpret her own songs to the audience before performing which she found very stressful and limited. Instead, she realised to fused in the English language which she believe will make things very easier for her without any language barrier.
“My traveling and people that I Meet has influence the kind of language I used to perform my songs these days. You know, it has happened to me twice that I have to interpret my songs to the audience before performing them which makes my songs very limited. Now I have learned to fuse in the English language so people will easily relate to the songs both home and abroad” she revealed.
