“Akokoa” hitmake Safo Newman has said that meeting Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie will be an absolute dream.
In a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, the young musician who has gained popularity online revealed this.
He claims that the rapper’s rendition of the song when it was first published and his frequent postings are solely responsible for the success of his viral single “Akokoa.”
The performer claims to have recorded several songs, some of which are better than “Akokoa,” but none of them were heard. Nevertheless, thanks to Sarkodie’s backing, his song “Akokoa” became viral, and other musicians began to take notice.
He claimed that he never imagined this would happen to him, given his current location and the recognition of the Ghanaian rapper.
He went on to say the only way he could, in his opinion, express his gratitude to Sarkodie for his efforts in making his song successful was by having a face-to-face encounter.
